Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego, Antartoida e Islas del Atlantoico Sur Province, Argentina, with a population of 82,615.
Ushuaia claims the title of the world's southernmost city.
We visited Ushuaia in March of 2024 on a cruise around South America and discovered a beautiful little city perched below snow-covered peaks on the historic Beagle Channel.
We spent our morning on a two-and-a-half hour cruise around the beautiful Beagle Channel enjoying the sights and wildlife.
After a rough day and night at sea coming from the Falkland Islands, we were treated to a fantastic clear sunny day.
After our tour of the Beagle Channel, I took what energy I had left and walked into town and along the waterfront while Lynn rested onboard.
This location at the "end of the world" was one of my most favorite places on the entire cruise.
